Obverse description Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great facing right, distinguished by the horn of Ammon curling above the ear, a divine attribute associating the king with Zeus-Ammon. The portrait is rendered in the Hellenistic style, with idealized features, flowing hair emerging from beneath the diadem, and a serene yet commanding expression. The diadem ends are visible at the nape of the neck, and the horn is finely integrated into the hairline above the temple.

Reverse description Athena Nikephoros seated left on a throne, holding a small figure of Nike in her outstretched right hand and resting her left arm upon a large round shield decorated with a gorgoneion. A transverse spear leans diagonally behind her. To the left of the composition, the monogram AP appears in the field. The two-line legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ flanks the central figure, identifying the issuing authority as King Lysimachos. The exergue and field are otherwise plain.
