| Reverse description | Athena Nikephoros seated left on a high-backed throne, her left arm resting on a large round shield set against the throne's side, and her outstretched right hand presenting a small winged Nike. The goddess is draped in a peplos and wears a crested Attic helmet. The legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ runs along the left and right fields respectively. To the left of the throne stands a herm, and in the exergue appear two monograms serving as mint or magistrate control marks. |
