正面描述 Heavily Celticised laureate and bearded male head facing left, derived from a Macedonian prototype. The facial features are rendered in an abstract, stylised Celtic manner, with pellet-and-arc motifs representing the eye and beard. The wreath is depicted as a bold relief of schematic leaf forms sweeping across the crown of the head. A prominent dotted border runs along the inner rim of the flan, framing the design.

附加信息

The "reclining figure-eight" type belongs to a loose group of imitative Celtic silver coinage derived ultimately from Macedonian prototypes — Philip II tetradrachms filtered westward and northward through trade and mercenary payment. By the time this particular stylistic reduction emerged among eastern Celtic groups, likely in the Carpathian basin, the original Macedonian imagery had been abstracted through successive die-copying generations into something entirely its own. The issuing community remains unidentified; attribution to a specific tribe is not possible with current evidence.
