Reverse description Bearded head of Zeus Ammon facing left, wearing a royal diadem from which rises a uraeus-like serpentine ornament above the forehead, a distinctive iconographic fusion of Greek and Egyptian religious traditions. A ram's horn curls over his ear, the hallmark attribute identifying the syncretic deity. The facial features are modeled in the classical Greek style, with a full beard rendered in fine parallel strands. Behind the head, a laurel spray bearing two leaves is positioned in the field. The overall composition reflects the cultural and religious syncretism characteristic of Kyrene's Hellenistic milieu.
