| Beschrijving keerzijde | Two serpents entwined around a bow and bowcase (gorytos), displayed vertically in the center of the field. Above the central device appears the ATPA monogram of the magistrate, while the letter Q (quaestor's mark) is positioned to the left and a serpent-entwined staff (caduceus or thyrsus) appears to the right. The composition is typical of late Republican cistophoric tetradrachms struck under Roman authority at Pergamum. |
