| Obverse description | Highly stylised Celtic interpretation of a laureate and bearded male head facing right, rendered in the characteristic Kugelwange ('ball-cheek') manner with a prominent globular cheek rendered as a large raised pellet. The facial features are dramatically abstracted: the eye is indicated by a circular pellet, the beard and hair dissolve into flowing curvilinear and leaf-like forms typical of La Tène artistic convention. Additional pellets are scattered across the cheek and surrounding field, emphasising the decorative vocabulary of the Celtic die-cutter. No inscription or legend is present. |

| Reverse description | A schematically rendered horse prancing to the left, its body reduced to bold globular and curvilinear forms in characteristic Celtic La Tène style. A row of pellets runs along the horse's arched neck and back, while the limbs are depicted as elongated club-ended strokes. Below the horse's body appears a cross or wheel symbol, and a single pellet is placed beneath the tail. The field is otherwise plain, with no legend or inscription, consistent with the anonymous coinage of the Eastern European Celtic tribes. |
