| Beschrijving keerzijde | A rider depicted emerging from or rising above the back of a horse trotting to the left, rendered in the abstract, highly stylized manner characteristic of Central European Celtic coinage of the Kroisbach-Reiterstumpf series. The rider's hair is bound with a diadem and arranged into a topknot from which three curls trail behind. The horse and rider composition is a derivative of Macedonian prototype imagery, reduced to semi-abstract La Tène decorative elements. No legend or exergual inscription is present. |

The Kroisbach-Reiterstumpf group takes its name from the Kroisbach hoard found near Wiener Neustadt, Austria, which yielded a concentrated deposit of this type and anchored its classification. Attribution to a specific tribe remains unsettled — the issuing authority is somewhere within the middle Danubian Celtic sphere, but the distribution evidence doesn't resolve it further than that. These tetradrachms derive ultimately from the Philip II Macedonian prototype, degraded across generations of local copying until the figural elements dissolved into abstraction.
The "Reiterstumpf" designation — roughly, rider-stump — refers to the progressive stylization of the horseman reverse into something barely recognizable as figurative at all.
