The hair is rendered in stylised, schematic striations characteristic of Celtic artistic interpretation, with the laurel wreath reduced to a series of abstract leaf forms and pellets. The beard is depicted as a cluster of granular bosses below the chin. A border of pellets runs along the coin's periphery, further emphasising the Celtic abstraction of the original Hellenistic prototype. |
