| Obverse description | Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great facing right, portrayed with the ram's horn of Ammon curling forward above the ear, asserting his divine status as son of Zeus-Ammon. The effigy displays finely engraved, flowing locks of hair rendered in the Hellenistic tradition, with a diadem tied around the head. The portrait is set within a dotted border and occupies the full field, exhibiting high relief and exceptional die craftsmanship characteristic of the Lysimacheia mint. |

| Reverse description | Athena Nikephoros seated left upon a throne, her right arm extended and resting upon a large round shield decorated with a boss, a transverse spear visible in the background. A small Nike figure is held aloft in her outstretched left hand, symbolising victory. In the inner left field, a lion's head facing left is placed above the control mark ΚΟ; a monogram appears on the throne. The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ ('of King Lysimachus') is disposed in the left and right fields respectively, all within a dotted border. |
