Reverse description Athena Nikephoros seated left upon a throne, holding a winged Nike in her outstretched right hand, who crowns the royal name inscribed in the field; Athena's left arm rests upon a large round shield decorated with a lion's head boss. A transverse spear leans behind her figure. A monogram appears in the inner left field, and a fish hook symbol (or uncertain control mark) is placed in the exergue. The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ runs in two lines flanking the figure, identifying the issuing authority as King Lysimachus.
