The hair is rendered in thick, flowing locks arranged in the distinctive Lysimachean style, falling in voluminous waves and curls around the neck and temples. The portrait is boldly modeled in high relief, conveying an idealized, heroic effigy consistent with the posthumous coinage tradition established by Lysimachus of Thrace. The field is otherwise plain, with no legend on the obverse. |
