| Descrizione del dritto | Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic portrait tradition with flowing, voluminous locks framing the face. The distinguishing horn of Ammon curls prominently above the ear, asserting Alexander's divine association with the Egyptian deity Zeus-Ammon. The facial features are finely modelled with a strong profile, slightly parted lips, and a youthful idealised appearance characteristic of late Lysimachean posthumous coinage. The diadem is tied at the back with ribbon ends visible among the hair. No legend appears on the obverse field. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Athena Nikephoros seated left upon a throne decorated with ornamental elements, holding Nike in her extended right hand and resting her left arm upon a large round shield propped at her side. A transverse spear leans diagonally in the background behind the goddess. The legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ runs along the outer field, identifying the coin as issued in the name of King Lysimachus. A monogram appears in the inner left field, the civic ethnic ΒΥ (for Byzantion) is inscribed on the throne, and an ornamented trident symbol occupies the exergue as a mint control mark specific to Byzantion. |
