Obverse description Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great facing right, rendered in the idealized Hellenistic portrait style with finely detailed, flowing curls framing the face. A small horn of Ammon curls forward above the right ear, emblematic of Alexander's divine association with Zeus-Ammon. The portrait is executed in high relief against a broad, plain field, conveying both heroic majesty and divine authority. No legend appears on the obverse.
