Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a backless stool-throne, his body draped from the waist, extending his right hand forward upon which an eagle perches with wings closed, while his left hand rests upon a long sceptre. In the left field appears a control monogram associated with the Kitian mint of Pumiathon. The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs around the field, identifying the coin as issued in the name of King Alexander the Great.
