Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a high-backed throne, his upper body nude, lower body draped; his outstretched right hand holds an eagle perched facing left, while his left hand rests upon a long sceptre. In the left field, a small olive sprig above a shield. Mint control marks appear beneath the throne, including the letters ΑΙ above and a monogram below. The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ to the lower left and ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ to the right frame the central design. A beaded border encircles the field.
