Obverse description Right-facing head of the youthful Herakles in high relief, wearing the scalp of the Nemean lion as a headdress, its paws knotted beneath the chin. The portrait exhibits strong, idealised features with full cheeks, a prominent brow, and tightly curled hair escaping from beneath the lion skin. The broad, well-struck flan displays a plain field with no legend, characteristic of the Alexandrine coinage type. The overall style reflects the Hellenistic workshop tradition of Odessos, with bold and confident die engraving.

Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned in three-quarter left view, his semi-draped figure seated upon a throne, holding a long sceptre upright in his left hand and extending a small eagle perched on his outstretched right hand. The god's muscular torso is bare, with drapery covering his lower body and legs. To the left, the vertical legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ is inscribed downward, while ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ runs vertically along the right field. The mint control monogram ΚΟΙ appears in the left field, and a secondary control symbol is visible beneath the throne. The composition closely follows the canonical Alexander III reverse type as struck at posthumous minting centres along the Black Sea coast.
