| Descrizione del rovescio | Zeus Aëtophoros seated left on a throne with a low back, his upper body nude and lower body draped, holding a long sceptre upright in his left hand and an eagle standing right in his outstretched right hand. The throne legs are visible beneath the figure. The field is flanked on the left by a dotted border pattern and on the right by a vertical Greek legend. The ethnic control mark ΕΥΠΡΟ appears in the lower exergual area below the throne, identifying this issue as a local production of Odessos. The legends ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ to the right and ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ to the left of the seated deity complete the royal titulature. |
