| Obverse description | Facing right, the youthful head of Herakles rendered in high relief, wearing the Nemean lion scalp as a headdress, the beast's gaping jaws framing the hero's brow and the paws knotted at the neck. The bold, idealized facial features display the characteristic Lysippan-influenced style associated with the Alexandrine coinage tradition. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, typical of posthumous issues struck at provincial mints. No legend or inscription appears in the field. |
