| Obverse description | Youthful beardless head of Heracles facing right, depicted in three-quarter relief, wearing the Nemean lion skin headdress with the scalp drawn over the crown and the forepaws knotted at the neck. The portrait exhibits fine archaic-classical die work with carefully rendered curling locks of hair visible beneath the lion skin along the cheek and forehead, consistent with the Susa mint style of the period. |

| Reverse description | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a low stool-throne, his body nude to the waist with drapery across the lap and legs; his outstretched right hand supports an eagle with wings closed, while his left hand rests on a tall upright sceptre. Two control monograms appear in the left field, with an additional monogram placed below the throne, serving as mint and issue identifiers characteristic of the Susa coinage. The ethnic legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ is inscribed in the right field, reading downward. |
