Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a low stool-throne, his body nude to the waist with drapery across the lap and legs; his outstretched right hand supports an eagle with wings closed, while his left hand rests on a tall upright sceptre. Two control monograms appear in the left field, with an additional monogram placed below the throne, serving as mint and issue identifiers characteristic of the Susa coinage. The ethnic legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ is inscribed in the right field, reading downward.
