In the left field, a youthful male figure stands holding a taenia (fillet) over the head of Zeus, with a dove flying left above him — both serving as mint control symbols specific to the Sikyonian issue. The ethnic control letter ΘΕ appears below the throne. The retrograde legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, identifying the coin as struck in the name of Alexander the Great. |
