Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a backless throne, his bare torso depicted in three-quarter view; he extends his right hand forward bearing an eagle, while his left hand rests on a long upright sceptre. In the left field, a youth stands left, raising a tainia (fillet or victor's ribbon) overhead with both hands; a monogram appears below the throne. The legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs in two lines flanking the enthroned figure, identifying the issue as struck in the name of Alexander the Great.
