| Beschrijving keerzijde | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned to the left upon a low stool-throne, depicted in a commanding, semi-draped pose. In his extended right hand he holds an eagle facing left, while his left hand rests on a long upright sceptre. The legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, reading downward. In the left field, a crested Macedonian helmet serves as a control symbol, and below the throne a monogram appears as an additional mint control mark. The composition follows the canonical Alexander-type reverse design introduced under Alexander III and perpetuated by successor issues. |
