| Beschrijving voorzijde | Youthful, beardless head of Heracles facing right, depicted in high relief with idealized Hellenistic features, enveloped in the scalp of the Nemean lion headdress, the gaping jaws of the lion crown framing the top and left side of the effigy, with the paws knotted at the neck. The curling locks of hair emerge beneath the lion skin at the temple and ear. The portrait is rendered with fine engraving characteristic of the early Pella mint issues, with a broad, smooth flan and iridescent cabinet toning visible on the fields. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a backless throne, his partially draped figure rendered in commanding Hellenistic style; his outstretched right hand supports an eagle with closed wings, while his left hand grasps a long sceptre. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. A bee, serving as a mint control symbol, is depicted in the left field flying left. The composition reflects the canonical reverse type established for Alexander III coinage and continued across the Macedonian mint network. |
