| Descrizione del dritto | Youthful head of Herakles facing right, wearing the scalp of the Nemean lion as a headdress, the beast's jaws framing the forehead and the mane falling behind in finely engraved striations. The idealized facial features — almond-shaped eye, straight nose, and slightly parted lips — reflect the influence of the Lysippan portrait tradition. The musculature of the neck is rendered with naturalistic detail, and the lion-skin paws are knotted at the throat. The field is plain, with no legend on the obverse. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned to the left on a low throne-stool, his nude torso rendered in high relief with a himation draped over his lap and left arm. His outstretched right hand bears an eagle with closed wings, while his left hand grasps a tall sceptre. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, reading downward. A control mark in the form of the letter Θ (theta) appears beneath the throne. The composition reflects the canonical Alexandrine reverse type established at the Pella mint. |
