He extends his right hand forward to support an eagle with closed wings, and holds a long upright sceptre in his left hand. The legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. In the left field, a control symbol in the form of an amphora appears above a monogram, serving as mint or magistrate identifiers characteristic of the Myrina issue as catalogued under Price 1652. |
