| Obverse description | Youthful bare head of Heracles facing right, wearing the scalp of the Nemean lion as a headdress, with the beast's jaws framing the upper brow and its paws knotted at the throat. The facial features are finely rendered in the Hellenistic idiom, with wavy hair escaping beneath the lion skin at the nape. A dotted border encircles the design field. The portrait reflects the standard Alexandrine type associating the king with the labours of Heracles. |

| Reverse description | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a low stool-throne without back, his himation draped across the lower body and legs. He extends his right hand forward to support an eagle with closed wings, and holds a long upright sceptre in his left hand. The legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. In the left field, a control symbol in the form of an amphora appears above a monogram, serving as mint or magistrate identifiers characteristic of the Myrina issue as catalogued under Price 1652. |
