| Reverse description | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a low backless throne, his body draped from the waist, holding an eagle perched on his outstretched right hand and a long sceptre upright in his left hand. The legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. In the left field, a monogram and an amphora serve as mint control symbols identifying the issue to Myrina in Aeolis. The composition follows the canonical reverse type established under Alexander III and perpetuated in posthumous civic coinage. |
