| Obverse description | Youthful bare head of Heracles facing right, depicted without beard, enveloped in the scalp of the Nemean lion worn as a headdress, with the animal's muzzle over the forehead, its ears and paws visible. The portrait is rendered in the bold Hellenistic style characteristic of posthumous Alexandrine coinage, with finely detailed curling locks of hair emerging beneath the lion skin. No legend appears on the obverse field. |
