Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned to the left upon a stool-throne (diphros), his nude upper body rendered with authority; his outstretched right hand supports an eagle with spread wings, while his left hand grasps a long upright sceptre. In the left field, a control amphora is placed above the Greek letter delta (Δ), serving as mint control marks identifying the Myrina issue. The royal legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, designating the coinage as issued in the name of Alexander. The composition follows the standard posthumous Alexandrine reverse type established during the king's reign and continued by successor mints throughout the Hellenistic period.
