| Beschrijving keerzijde | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left upon a stool-throne, his upper body nude and draped at the waist, his outstretched right hand supporting an eagle with spread wings, while his left hand grasps a tall sceptre. In the left field, a labrys (double axe) serves as a mint control symbol identifying the Miletus issue. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, reading 'of Alexander.' The composition follows the canonical Alexandrine reverse type established under Alexander III. |
