Reverse description Zeus Aetophoros enthroned left upon a low stool-throne, his nude torso rendered in three-quarter view, holding an eagle perched on his outstretched right hand and a long sceptre upright in his left. In the left field, Nike advances right, proffering a wreath in her extended hand and bearing a palm branch. The ethnic legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, with the control mark ΝΟ inscribed beneath the throne. The composition follows the standard type established under Alexander III and continued by successor mints.
