Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a low stool-throne, his nude upper body rendered in three-quarter view; he extends his right hand forward supporting an eagle with closed wings, while his left hand grasps a long sceptre rising vertically behind him. The legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. In the left field, a Chimaera advancing right serves as the principal mint control symbol, identifying the issue as struck at Corinth. Beneath the throne, the secondary control mark ΝΟ appears in the exergual area.
