Reverse description Zeus Aetophoros enthroned left on a low stool-throne, his partially draped figure rendered in authoritative high relief. In his extended right hand he holds an eagle facing outward, while his left hand grasps a long sceptre. The throne back is decorated with Nikai as finials. In the left field an amphora appears as a mint control symbol, and the letters ΔΕ appear below the throne as a secondary control mark. The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right and upper fields.
