| Descrizione del dritto | Youthful right-facing head of Herakles in three-quarter relief, clad in the scalp of the Nemean lion, with the beast's muzzle resting upon the forehead and its paws knotted at the neck. The deeply modelled facial features display strong Hellenistic artistry, with well-defined brow, prominent nose, and parted lips. The lion skin headdress falls in naturalistic folds along the neck and behind the ear. No legend or inscription appears in the field. The flan is slightly irregular, consistent with hand-struck production at the Babylon mint. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned in left-facing profile upon a high-backed throne, his body turned three-quarters to the left. In his extended right hand he holds an eagle with spread wings, while his left hand rests upon a long vertical sceptre. The god is depicted semi-draped, with drapery across the lower body. A monogram enclosed within a laurel wreath occupies the left field, and a second monogram appears beneath the throne. The royal legend BAΣIΛEΩΣ / AΛEΞANΔPOY is inscribed vertically in the right field in clean Greek capitals. |
