Obverse description Youthful head of Heracles facing right, depicted beardless and wearing the Nemean lion skin headdress, the scalp knotted beneath the chin with the forepaws draped over the neck. The portrait is rendered in fine Hellenistic style with crisp, high-relief modeling of the facial features. The field is plain, and the design is contained within a dotted border visible along the coin's periphery.

Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a low backless throne, his right arm extended outward supporting an eagle with closed wings, and his left hand grasping a tall sceptre. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. In the left field, the city ethnic AΣ (for Aspendus) appears above the regnal date KZ, with a cornucopia flanking these control marks. The composition follows the canonical Alexandrine reverse type established under Alexander III.
