His feet rest on a low footstool. The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right and lower fields. A corn-ear (grain symbol) appears as a mint control mark in the left field, identifying the issue to the Amphipolis mint. |
