Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned to left on a backless throne, his body draped from the waist, holding a perched eagle in his outstretched right hand and a long vertical scepter in his raised left hand. A Macedonian helmet appears as a control symbol beneath Zeus's right hand in the left field. The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ is arranged vertically along the right side of the field, reading 'of King Alexander.' A beaded border frames the design.
