| Mô tả mặt trước | Youthful head of Heracles facing right, depicted beardless and wearing the Nemean lion skin headdress, with the scalp drawn over the crown and the forepaws knotted at the neck. The facial features are rendered in fine Hellenistic style with a strong profile, almond-shaped eye, and slightly parted lips. The reverse of the lion's maw is visible above the forehead, and the mane falls naturalistically behind the neck. The dotted border frames the design on a broad, slightly irregular flan typical of early posthumous Amphipolis issues. |

A cornucopia appears in the left field, serving as a mint control symbol. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs downward along the right field, denoting possession and royal authority. The composition follows the canonical Alexandrine type established at the Amphipolis mint during the lifetime and early posthumous issues of Alexander III. |
