| Obverse description | Youthful head of Heracles facing right, depicted beardless and wearing the Nemean lion skin headdress, the scalp knotted beneath the chin with forepaws visible at the neck. The portrait displays fine Lysippan-influenced modelling with naturalistic hair rendered in flowing curls beneath the lion scalp. The face exhibits strong classical features with a prominent brow, deep-set eye, and well-defined jaw. The flan is broad and well-centred, the overall style consistent with posthumous Amphipolitan issues struck in the name of Alexander III. |

| Reverse description | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a backless throne, his body draped from the waist, holding an eagle perched on his extended right hand and a long sceptre upright in his left. In the left field, a crescent symbol appears above two monograms stacked vertically, and an additional monogram is placed below the throne. The reverse legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. The composition follows the canonical Alexandrine reverse type as established at Amphipolis during the early Diadoch period. |
