In his extended right hand he holds an eagle, while his left hand grasps an upright scepter. The ethnic legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ is inscribed along the upper right field and ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ along the right, reading 'of King Alexander.'
