| Obverse description | Right-facing head of the deified Herakles in three-quarter relief, wearing the Nemean lion scalp headdress, the jaws of the beast framing his face and the paws knotted at his neck. The effigy is rendered in fine Hellenistic style with naturalistic musculature and flowing hair escaping beneath the scalp. A dotted border encircles the design. |

| Reverse description | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a high-backed throne, his torso nude, lower body draped; he extends his right hand bearing an eagle with spread wings, and holds a long sceptre upright in his left hand. A sceptre tip is visible at upper right. In the left field, a royal sceptre or staff and below the throne, the mint control letter K appears as a secondary symbol. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs downward along the right field. A dotted border frames the entire composition. |
