| Beschrijving voorzijde | Youthful head of Heracles facing right, depicted beardless, wearing the Nemean lion skin headdress with the scalp knotted beneath the chin and the forepaws draped over the shoulders. The portrait displays the fine Lysippan-influenced style characteristic of early posthumous Alexander coinage, with delicately rendered facial features and naturalistic musculature of the lion skin. No inscription appears on the obverse. |
