In the left field, a bull's head facing; below the throne, a monogram serving as a mint control symbol. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, identifying the coinage as struck in the name of Alexander. The composition follows the canonical Alexander tetradrachm reverse type established under Alexander III of Macedon. |
