Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a low backless throne (diphros), his upper body nude and draped from the waist, holding an eagle perched on his outstretched right hand and a long sceptre upright in his left hand. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, reading downward. In the left field, the letter Α serves as a regnal or civic date symbol. The composition adheres closely to the canonical posthumous Alexander-type reverse design as adapted by the mint of Perge in Pamphylia.
