| Obverse description | Beardless head of Heracles in right profile, wearing the Nemean lion scalp as a headdress, with the lion's muzzle visible over the brow and the paws knotted at the throat. The facial features are rendered with idealized Hellenistic naturalism, framed by the flowing mane of the lion skin. A beaded border encircles the design, characteristic of the Alexandrine tetradrachm series. |

| Reverse description | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a backless throne, his right arm outstretched bearing an eagle with closed wings, a long sceptre held upright in his left hand. The god is depicted as a mature, powerful figure draped from the waist down. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, and a control monogram appears in the left field. The composition follows the canonical reverse type established for Alexander III posthumous coinage. |
