| Reverse description | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a backless stool-throne, his draped lower body resting on a footstool; he holds an eagle with wings spread on his outstretched right hand, and a long sceptre upright in his left. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. In the left field, the Macedonian era date letter H (year 8) serves as a chronological control mark, attributing this issue to the municipal mint of Perge during 214–213 BC. |
