| Obverse description | Youthful head of Herakles facing right, clad in the Nemean lion skin headdress with the scalp knotted beneath the chin and the paws draped over the shoulders, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with curling locks of hair visible beneath the pelt. The portrait displays the idealised heroic features associated with posthumous Alexandrine coinage, with strong facial modelling and a slightly upturned nose.
