Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left upon a stool-throne (diphros), his body draped, holding an eagle perched on his outstretched right hand and a long sceptre upright in his left. In the inner left field, an aplustre (naval trophy) is depicted, accompanied by the control letters A and ΣΙ. Monograms appear beneath the throne as additional mint controls. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs to the right of the enthroned figure, identifying the coin as struck in the name of Alexander.
