The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ is disposed in two vertical lines flanking the seated figure, identifying the issue as struck in the name of Alexander the Great. The overall composition follows the standard posthumous Alexandrine reverse type, with the Mesembriot civic symbols differentiating this local emission. |
